| Custom Restoration Services |
| |
Roundhouse Imageworks offers custom digital image restoration services for
imperfect and damaged slides, prints and negatives. Surface defects on
negatives can be reduced or removed completely, missing areas in photographs
can be duplicated or "cloned" from similar areas, and color balancing and
sharpening can be performed to make your digital images look their best.
Due to wide variations and degrees of damage that can occur to photographic
media, we cannot quote prices without first evaluating the extent of the damage
and restoration required. Please
contact us to discuss your particular situation and needs.

| Digital Scanning Services |
| |
Our scanning services offer the amateur and professional photographer an easy
and affordable way to preserve his or her photographic media in a digital
format. We are capable of scanning photographs and 35mm film in strip or slide
formats including Advanced Photo System film. Prints and documents up to legal
size (8 1/2" x 17") can be accommodated. We are also equipped to scan
documents, art work, and other non-photographic material.

* Scanned images are available for downloading (for a period of 30 days) from
our FTP server. There would be no additional media charges. Your images are
secure (a user ID and password is required to access the server). This would be
the only delivery option for Mac and UNIX users.

Image Format, Resolution and Size |
| |
The default graphic format for photographs is JPEG with 10% compression (90% of
original). We recommend saving in a non-compressed TIFF format if you are
archiving your images. We can convert scanned images into most formats.
Your images will be scanned closest to one of the following resolutions (or
your custom resolution). Use the following table to determine the amount of
media your order will require.

Equipment used in the Scanning process |

Roundhouse Imageworks utilizes the Nikon Super Coolscan 2000 (LS-2000) for our
35mm film (negative and slide) scanning. An Epson Perfection 1200U and HP
Officejet d145 are the flatbed scanners used for prints and documents.

Roundhouse Imageworks will not scan copyrighted material from third parties
without the express written consent of the author. We are not responsible for
loss or damage of material incurred during shipping. Roundhouse Imageworks
treats all material received from our customers as proprietary. We will use the
material as appropriate for the services being offered, and will not release to
any third party in any way.

Ordering Instructions |

1) Print, read and sign the Order
Form (Adobe Acrobat required - if you don't have it, get it here).
2) Indicate the graphics format and resolution you require.
3) Send the signed document with materials to be scanned and total payment to
Roundhouse Imageworks at the address listed on the
About Us page.
Please make checks (from U.S. banks), money orders, or international money
orders payable to Roundhouse Imageworks. We do not take credit card orders at
this time. Please do not send cash. Payment must be made in full before any
services are furnished.
